-Ask smokers to light up outside as cigarettes are loaded with more than 4000 chemicals

-Cover or throw out furniture with exposed foam, which releases flame retardants as it deteriorates
-Toss vinyl mini blinds purchased before 1997 as their surfaces can be laced with lead
